This is a bridge in Paris. You hang locks on it with the name of you & your boyfriend/girlfriend/best-friend then throw the key into the river. so even though the friend/relationship may end, you can’t remove the lock. It stays there forever, as relevance to someone once a part of your life.

Is it an eye, or is it a lamp? Smoothly it turns its head and searches the ground. From the corner it follows the dark edges and spaces in between, illuminating spots the sun never reaches. Looking like a dweller of unknown worlds, Feeler is a flexible lamp. The cosy tube can be used as a cuddling lamp on the floor or as sculptural lamp, pendant or freestanding. Feeler is a good friend for a lifetime.
I imagine it being in Monsters Inc. creeping behind you, looking over your shoulder. Reading a book with this would look surreal and wonderful, whacky fantastic idea.
For the last 500 years, the locals of Nongriat in Meghalaya, India have grown several hundred bridges across the region’s numerous water channels, using just the roots of local ribber trees. Some of the bridges extend over 100 feet in length and are strong enough to support more than 50 people at a time.
